Textile wallpicture
My textile pictures are made from different fabrics, with applique and embroidery techniques. I am using the sewing machine like a pencil, to draw on my fabrics with the threads. This is the way I can make my thoughts and my inspirations visible to others.
I like using contrasting textures, photos and metal sheets, with different types of thread and like them to be very tactile.
I can relive the memories, and I can remember my feelings, while I am stitching on the photos of things I have experienced. It is a form of meditation.
